delicious food with generous portions for the price. definitely worth it. we had the crispy shrimp, udon soup, and musubi, and everything was really good. it’s a small takeaway with a little outdoor seating area. the owners are friendly too. would definitely recommend!

Tried the pork katsu, spam musubi, and the original kimbap. The pork katsu was tender and well breaded. Korean barbeque and pickled jalapeños were garnishes and both were tasty. The katsu dish also came with two fried dumplings and one fried shrimp. The spam musubi was large and came in two with a full size slice of spam. Flavors were good and what I expected for musubi. The kimbap was quite good with multiple contrasting flavors of the ingredients and a hint of sesame oil. I enjoyed a little soy sauce on the rice. The sticky rice was cooked well and provided the right base for the musubi and kimbap. Overall I was very pleased with my experience and I would eat here again.

Food was good and close to Disneyland. Great for a late night snack. There’s no indoor dining. Everything‘s told the automated so you don’t see people until they bring out your food. There is an outdoor seating. No bathrooms. They offer an assortment of ice creams that are Asian themed. It’s literally 1 block from the Disneyland property entrance.

Mama Katsu was excellent! I had ordered a Chicken Katsu and Takoyaki. The shop is small and seems to have self-service kiosks to place orders,and that's not a bad thing because they're in the back churning out the orders. My order came out to around $30 so the pricing is fair. Katsu plates have a GENEROUS amount of food (I'd say one plate could easily satisfy 2) so come with an empty stomach! I'd waited about 15 minutes tops for my order so wait time was minimal for me. Chicken Katsu-GREAT Takoyaki-Really good Musubi-Really good Be mindful,there is no indoor seating so the patio does have tables set up for outdoor eating.

If you’re visiting Disney, do yourself a favor and save some room in your stomach for takeout dinner at Mama Katsu’s! This place is incredible!!! Everything here is so so good. We had the spicy tteokbokki with ramen and it was enough food for two of us to share, a perfect flavor (not too salty, not too sweet) and soup consistency (not too thin, not too thick). Spicy is actually spicy! Then we had to come back the next night and got the pork katsu and california roll, and both were equally as amazing as the tteokbokki was! You know you’ve found a gem of a restaurant when every single menu item is delicious. The katsu was perfectly cooked, crispy even as takeout, and came with so many bonuses: more than enough dipping sauce, a shrimp tempura, some delicious and well paired pickled jalapeños, coleslaw better than Cane’s, and fluffy and perfectly moist rice. Portions were generous, way more pork than I expected. California was a delight too, moist and flavorful (heavier on the mayo, which I really enjoy). To top it off, Mama is so sweet and a joy to everyone who comes to her store! Ordering is so easy and fast on the tablets. There’s lots of Asian desserts and drinks available for p
